- In late April ’09 Kyle participated in a fund raising event for the Dallas Ft. Worth Center for Autism…this included appearing at 6 Jamba Juice 97.1, The Eagle. locations in DFW where 10% of all proceeds that afternoon went to the center; and later that evening he and band performed live at Fuzzy’s Tacos in Ft Worth where 10% of all proceeds went to the center as well. This event was promoted on the radio station
- He was interviewed by Music Connection Magazine and an article appeared in their May ’09 issue…spoke about him being an artist with autism and how he expresses himself through his music.
- Channel 39 (CW) did a story on him in April ’09 (Nat’l Autism awareness mo.)…emerging artist with autism.
- FOX, channel 26, in Houston did a feature story on him, May ’09 also as an singer who expresses himself through music; was distributed nationwide.
- The CBS affliliate in Dallas covered him (also about autism, singing) in Feb ’09
- He appeared on the Deborah Duncan morning show, “Great Day Houston”, during autism month (April ’09).
- He has recorded a theme song for an upcoming HBO pilot written by the Farrlley brothers.
- His song “Everybody Wants to be Heard” is being adopted by the national organization, Autism Speaks, as their theme song for their annual walks, nationwide.
- He is being featured as a successful artist with autism on the new web site www.one150media.com.
